The Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto is seeking an outstanding scholar for a named Chair in Marketing with focus on Consumer Information Processing at the rank of Full Professor, effective July 1, 2011.

Preferred candidates will have:

• A leadership position within the discipline marked by substantive and/or methodological innovation within the area of consumer information processing (e.g. attitudes, perception, motivation, choice);
• A track record of publications in top tier journals;
• Demonstrable evidence of potential for further publications in such journals;
• Willingness and ability to complement the Marketing area’s core competencies;
• Willingness and ability to contribute to the doctoral program and eligibility for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies;
• Evidence of teaching interests and skill that complement the needs of the area group and the school.

Salary and benefits are competitive. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.
