Tenure-Stream Appointment
Applications are invited for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Human Gross Anatomy and Athletic Therapy commencing July 1, 2015, subject to budgetary approval. Applicants with expertise and demonstrated teaching excellence in human gross anatomy and athletic therapy are invited to apply. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Human Gross Anatomy, or related field, with evidence of a strong research program and several years of demonstrated university-level teaching experience beyond teaching assistant appointments. The candidate must currently be certified by the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association. Duties will include research and teaching at the undergraduate level within the School of Kinesiology and Health Science, as well as in the Athletic Therapy Certificate program. Graduate teaching and supervision of graduate students will also be required. Experience with technology-based learning environments and instructional design would be a definite asset.
