Contractually Limited Appointment

Applications are invited for one (1) three-year contractually limited appointment in Health Policy, Health Equity and Human Rights at the Sessional Assistant Professor level commencing July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2018, subject to budgetary approval. Applicants should specialize in national and global health policy. Expertise in health human rights, global and comparative health policy would be an asset. Candidates must have a PhD in Health Policy or a related field with a strong Health Policy focus. Candidates should show excellence or promise of excellence in teaching. The position may involve graduate teaching and supervision in addition to undergraduate teaching. The successful candidate will also play a role in the further development of the Global Health BA/BSc Program, and be expected to fully participate in a highly productive and collegial academic community. Successful experience in teaching in relevant health-related fields is preferable.
