Assistant or Associate Professor in Marketing
The Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto, Canada, is seeking an outstanding scholar for a tenure-stream position in Marketing at either the Assistant or Associate Professor level effective July 1, 2015 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Preferred candidates will have:
- A completed doctorate in marketing, with both multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary training;
- Mastery in combining multiple methods;
- Demonstrated research interests and methodological expertise relevant to one (but ideally at least two) of the following areas: marketing and retail analytics, service science, consumer psychology, consumer culture, marketing strategy;
- Evidence of potential to publish in top tier journals;
- Demonstrated ability or excellent potential to teach in undergraduate and graduate programs, and eligibility for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Our faculty embodies, and seeks to maintain and extend, a highly synergistic multidisciplinary orientation. Our ideal candidate will be eager and able to do research that crosses the conventional boundaries in our field.
Salary and benefits are competitive. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.
