Department of Political Science

The Department of Political Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University, invites applications from qualified candidates for a one-year Sessional Assistant Professor position in Political Theory to commence July 1, 2015. Applicants must have a PhD in Political Science with demonstrable excellence, or the promise of excellence, in teaching and scholarly research. The successful candidate will have expertise in the area of the History of Political Thought with research and teaching experience in this area. The appointment carries a teaching load of three full courses or the equivalent.
