Tenure Stream Appointment in Real Estate and Infrastructure
The Schulich School of Business, Program in Real Estate and Infrastructure, York University is seeking an outstanding scholar for a tenure-stream appointment in either Real Estate or Infrastructure, commencing July 1, 2016. The rank is open, depending on qualifications.
We seek an individual with a proven track record of outstanding teaching and research in either real estate or infrastructure at the graduate level. The teaching and research shall reflect a sound understanding of the industry sector from both an academic and an industry perspective. Preference will be given to those applicants who have a proven ability to link theory and practice; understand the importance of fostering close relationships with industry; and are resourceful in creating extra-curricular learning opportunities for their students. Applicants must demonstrate their ability to design and deliver courses from a global perspective that will enrich the experience of MBA students in the Program in Real Estate and Infrastructure. This individual will also be expected to take a leadership role in a soon to be launched one-year master's degree in real estate and infrastructure. Applicants must present an active record of research accomplishments including published papers in recognized journals in their field. The successful applicant will have a PhD in a field related to real estate or infrastructure and be eligible for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Salary and benefits are competitive. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.
