The Department of Psychology at York University (http://psyc.info.yorku.ca/) invites applications for a full-time Alternate Stream (teaching-focused) tenure track position (Assistant Lecturer rank) in Quantitative Methods, to commence July 1, 2016 with core responsibilities in teaching introductory and intermediate undergraduate statistics.

Candidates with a PhD in Psychology (or a related field such as Educational Psychology) who show excellence or promise of excellence in teaching quantitative methods are encouraged to apply. We encourage applications from candidates with research expertise in pedagogy, technology enhanced learning, educational measurement and outcomes, although research experience in any area will be given full consideration. The position will primarily involve undergraduate teaching and research as well as graduate teaching and supervision. Candidates must be eligible for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
