School of Administrative Studies
The School of Administrative Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University, invites applications for a tenure-stream position in the area of Management at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence July 1, 2016. A PhD (or near completion) in a management discipline or a related field is required. Preference will be given to those with scholarly research focus in entrepreneurship or small business management, though we will consider applicants from other fields of management studies. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence or promise of excellence in research, publications, and undergraduate teaching at all levels, and will be expected to develop and teach entrepreneurship and intermediate management courses. The successful candidates must be suitable for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
The deadline for applications is October 30, 2015. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.
