Applications are invited for a three-year Contractually Limited Appointment (CLA) in the Alternate Stream in Community Health and Chronic Disease/Injury at the rank of Sessional Assistant Lecturer to commence July 1, 2017. Applicants should have a background in injury prevention and prevention of chronic disease, including promoting physical activity. Experience working in community health, including knowledge translation and partnership building is an asset. Candidates must have a PhD in Epidemiology/community health, and a strong teaching record and post-doctoral experience are preferred. As a teaching-focused appointment, the successful candidate will contribute to and build upon existing undergraduate course offerings in Epidemiology of injury prevention, chronic disease prevention, and approaches to knowledge translation in community health. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning is an asset.
