School of Administrative Studies
The School of Administrative Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University, invites applications for a tenure-stream position in the Decision Sciences area, with specialization in Supply Chain Management, at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence July 1, 2017.
The successful candidate will have a completed PhD (or near completion) in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline; will demonstrate excellence or the promise of excellence in scholarly research, teaching and service; and will have publications appropriate to the candidate's stage of career. Preference will be given to those with research focus and ability to teach in one or more of the following areas: supply chain management, transportation, and operations management. In addition, applicants should have the breadth and versatility to teach a variety of undergraduate courses, particularly in operations and supply chain management. The successful candidate must be suitable for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning is an asset.
