The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is seeking a 3-year Contractually Limited Appointment (CLA) at the rank of Sessional Assistant Lecturer (alternate stream) to serve as Course Coordinator of all first-year Major and Service computing courses offered by the Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping, nurturing, and enriching the curriculum by liaising with the Departmental Curriculum Committees, and for supporting and enhancing the learning process and student experience in these courses. As a teaching-focused appointment, the successful candidate has demonstrated excellence in teaching, is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Canada or could obtain licensure in the very short term, and will assume the teaching of up to 6 course sections. The appointment will commence July 1, 2017, subject to budgetary approval.
