Applications are invited for a three-year alternate stream (teaching-focused) contractually limited appointment (CLA) position in Global Health, Ethics and Human Rights at the rank of Sessional Assistant Lecturer to commence July 1, 2017. Applicants should have a background in global health with a focus on human rights, equity or ethics.

Experience working in global health with a focus on ethical issues involved in health care policy, management and informatics and health and human rights. Candidates must have a PhD in social sciences or law or a relevant field with a specialization in human rights and the law, or health care ethics. Work in international development is also an asset. As a teaching-focused appointment, the successful candidate will contribute to and build upon existing undergraduate course offerings in the Global Health and Health Equity programs. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning is an asset.
