Contractually Limited Appointment

Applications are invited for a three-year alternate stream Contractually Limited Appointment (CLA), in Critical Socio-Cultural and Policy Studies in Sport and Physical Activity at the rank of Sessional Assistant Lecturer to commence July 1, 2018. Candidates must have a PhD in a related field and post-doctoral experience is an asset. Evidence of successful teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels at a post-secondary institution is required. Expertise and the ability to teach in the area of sport and technology from a socio-cultural or policy perspective is especially welcomed. The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching core courses and electives in the School. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning is an asset.
