The Finance Area of the Schulich School of Business, York University invites applications for a professorial tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to commence July 1, 2019. Salary and benefits are competitive. The successful candidate must be eligible for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.
Candidates will have a PhD in Finance or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence or the promise of excellence in research and teaching, preferably those whose field interests are in new and emerging areas of finance. There should be evidence of an ongoing research program with potential for publications in high quality, refereed journals. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology-enhanced learning is preferred.
