The Marketing Area, School of Administrative Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies invites applications for a professorial stream tenure-track appointment in Marketing at the Assistant Professor level, to commence July 1, 2020. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.

A PhD, or a PhD near completion by the start of the appointment in Marketing is required. Candidates must show excellence or promise of excellence in teaching, scholarly research and publication, and service.

Applicants should have an ongoing program of research with research/teaching interests in one or more of the following areas: Digital Marketing (including but not limited to Social Media), Big Data, Data Analytics, or Marketing Applications of Disruptive Technologies (e.g., artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, augmented/virtual reality, IoT).

The successful candidate must be suitable for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies. The position will involve graduate teaching and supervision, as well as undergraduate teaching. Pedagogical innovation in high priority areas such as experiential education and technology enhanced learning is preferred.
