The School of Administrative Studies, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University invites highly qualified candidates to apply for a professorial stream tenure-track appointment in Management – Organizational Behaviour at the Assistant level, to commence July 1, 2022. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. All York University positions are subject to budgetary approval.

A PhD, or a PhD near completion by July 1, 2022, in Organizational Behaviour or a closely related field is required, with a demonstrated record of excellence or promise of excellence in research and in teaching. Applicants should have a clearly articulated program of research in Organizational Behaviour. We seek candidates who have published, or have the potential to publish, in top-tier journals of the field. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in outstanding, innovative, and, as appropriate, externally funded research at the highest level.

Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence or promise of research excellence of a recognized international calibre as demonstrated in: the research statement; a record of publications (or forthcoming publications) with significant journals in the field; presentations at major conferences; awards and accolades; and strong recommendations from referees of high standing.

The position may involve graduate teaching and supervision, as well as undergraduate teaching and the successful candidate must be suitable for prompt appointment to the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Successful candidates should provide evidence of excellence in teaching, or promise of such excellence, which could be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments and evaluations, pedagogical innovations, experience and/or commitment to student engagement, experiential education, technology enhanced learning and e-learning.
