The Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, York University, Toronto, Ontario invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the Assistant Professor level, beginning July 1, 2005 (subject to budgetary approval).
Area of Specialization: Ethics, or Social/Political Philosophy, or Philosophy of Law. Interdisciplinarity or an interest in the history of philosophy would be considered an asset. The successful candidate will have a PhD in philosophy, and demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching . The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and York University has a competitive benefits program.
