Purpose:
To create accurate and comprehensive architectural construction drawings for renovations
and alterations to existing buildings. |

Education:
Community College diploma in Architectural Technology (2 or 3 year program). |
| |
Experience:
5 years recent experience in architectural design using AutoCAD. Knowledge and ability to review on-site conditions. |
| |
Skills:
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of architectural design, detailing and a complete understanding of related specifications.
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of AutoCAD2007.
Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Gerber signage software.
Demonstrated knowledge of Building Code.
Demonstrated ability to perform multi-tasking.
Effective oral communication skills.
Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
Initiative and independence, ability to set own priorities.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Accuracy to detail, ability to work under pressure of time and volume of work.
Tact and diplomacy.
Good organizational skills.
Full knowledge of site safety precautions and WHMIS. |
