Hours: Evening shift Monday - Thursday 12:30 p.m - 10:30 p.m
 
Purpose:
The purpose of the Parking Enforcement Officer, is to act as an agent of the University, by enforcing York University’s Parking and Traffic Regulations.
 
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Ontario "G" Driver's licence.
 
Experience:
1 year parking related experience (e.g., processing transactions, working with Parking Access and Revenue Control systems ), 1 year cash handling experience, 2 years customer service experience.
 
Skills:
Demonstrated customer service skills, interpersonal communication skills(e.g , verbal and written communication skills, effective listening skills). Ability to work with hand held ticket writer devices. Ability to work with computerized point-of-sale systems. Accuracy in working with figures; preferred
