Purpose:
This is an 12 month YUSA contract that will report to the Director, Registrarial Enterprise Initiatives . Responsibilities include business analysis (e.g. of the student record, management practices), recommendations for improved process, statistical analysis, and data reporting (e.g. enrolment data). Administration of the Student Information System (SIS) involves table updates, access control, testing and implementation of new SIS applications, writing of user documentation and training of users. The project scope for this contract will support and improve the ease of mobility of students between post-secondary institutions. This position will work to identify process and system enhancements within our data and administrative processes, and will work with UIT as well as other user groups to test and ultimately implement the changes.
 
Education:
University degree in computer science or equivalent.
 
Experience:
4-6 years related work experience supporting a large enterprise data base system (e.g.computerized student information systems); generating statistical reports, training for large groups and one-on-one; documentation and report writing.
