Purpose:

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION REQUIRES BILINGUALISM IN ENGLISH AND FRENCH, AND IS LOCATED AT GLENDON COLLEGE: 2275 BAYVIEW AVENUE TORONTO.

Reporting to the Manager, Parking Administration and receiving work direction from both the Manager/Supervisor, Administration Parking at the Keele Campus, this position is to provide front-line customer service at the Glendon campus in the areas of Parking Services. In addition, this position is responsible for the collection of outstanding violations and related charges; cash handling/deposits and journal uploads; coordinates parking arrangements for special groups and events; data entry and office filing; responding to enquiries; processing of mail, all in compliance with both Department and University policies and procedures.
 
Education:
High School Diploma.
 
Experience:
1-2 years front line customer service experience including 1-2 years cash handling, basic accounting functions and 6 months lead hand experience overseeing work flow of temporary staff.
 
Skills:
Fluent bilingualism in French and English is required (oral and written). Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French. Bilingual French Modules l, ll and lll required. Intermediate computer skills for spreadsheets (Excel) and word processing (Word); accurate typing 35 – 40 wpm in English and French; Proven accuracy with data entry and working with figures; Strong attention to detail: Ability to obtain and provide information in a clear and concise manner is essential; Customer Service oriented; cash handling and demonstrated problem-solving skills; tact and diplomacy are essential as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality while exercising initiative and good judgment.
