Purpose:
Working in the Academic scheduling area, the Records and Scheduling Analyst is responsible for the: Housing of a student's academic records in hard copy format. In addition to the contents of the folder the Records and Scheduling Analyst will update the Student Information System (SIS) to ensure that the academic record is up to date and accurate. Maintenance, preservation, updating and managing of the official York University student record in all its aspects and dimensions, from admission through to graduation. Maintenance, preservation, updating and managing of the Course Access Specifications (CAS) in the Student Information System (SIS). Monitoring of space utilization (Main campus and Glendon campus). Accuracy of information at all levels while gathering and processing data or facts.
 
Education:
High School Diploma with some additional Post-Secondary studies.
 
Experience:
Minimum 3 years' related work experience in a computerized academic student records environment; familiarity with academic policies and legislation and the ability to assimilate and apply academic records.

INTERMEDIATE: Database Management (e.g. Microsoft Access)-Application Packages spreadsheets (e.g. Excel); calendaring (e.g. Synchronize); schedulers (e.g. Schedule 25 and 25E). Hardware: PC Fundamentals; MAC Fundamentals; Printers; Modems.
