| Purpose: Creates new applicant records (mounts) on a large computerized record system and validates received information. Ensures names/addresses/codes are correct and cross-checks for duplicate entries to accurately maintain the integrity of applicant data. Scans and images academic documentation into the computer system. Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail; opens, date stamps and sorts incoming mail and assembles received mail for scanning and imaging by date and type of document. Packages outgoing mail. |

| Education: High school graduation or equivalent. |

| Experience: Minimum 1 year's recent related experience (e.g., cross- checking/verifying information, matching and sorting documents, etc.) including on-line data entry and maintaining computerized records. |

| Skills: Knowledge of academic terminology used in documentation (e.g., transcripts, diplomas, etc.). Demonstrated skill/ability in the following areas: adequate knowledge of geographical locations; good keyboarding and accurate on-line data entry skills on a large computerized records system (e.g. ADMW-SIS), basic math skills to calculate grade point average; basic excel spreadsheet skills, cross- checking/verifying records; matching and sorting documents; attending accurately to detail; good reading, proof reading, reading comprehension and spelling skills; good interpersonal skills including flexibility while working effectively as a member of a team; exercising good judgment; ability to work under pressure of high volume with constant deadlines and interruptions; tact and diplomacy essential; maintaining confidentiality; accurate filing; lifting and bending. |
