Reporting to the Dean, and accountable to the Associate Dean Research, Graduate Program & International Relations, the Graduate Program Director and the Executive Officer, the Director, Research & Graduate Studies Operations is responsible for management and delivery of services designed to enhance, promote and advance research and the graduate studies program at Osgoode Hall Law School. The Director serves as advisor to the Dean, Associate Dean, and Graduate Program Director regarding the overriding strategic direction of research and graduate studies operations, develops, implements and enforces research and graduate studies program policy, identifies and develops research partnerships with industry, government and community, coordinates major research initiatives, and oversees the delivery of research services and the graduate studies program operations at the School. |

| Education: Minimum JD/LLB. LLM Preferred. |

| Experience: Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably in an academic environment, with strong leadership, project management and staff management experience. |

| Skills: Superior oral and written communication skills. Expertise in preparation of complex reports, applications and proposals. Excellent research and analytical skills. Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legislation, policies and regulations. Ability to successfully collaborate with a broad spectrum of clientele. Effective interpersonal and public relations skills. Working knowledge and understanding of the national funding arena and research opportunities. Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, discretion and diplomacy. Demonstrated management and supervisory skills. Technical proficiency. |
