| Purpose: The Event Organizer arranges, promotes and facilitates events sponsored or hosted by the Master’s Office in Winters College. |

| Education: High School Diploma. |

| Experience: 1-2 years of directly related, current experience such as organization of logistical elements for mid-size and smaller events (i.e., artistic performances, orientations, seminars, workshops, fund-raisers, sales, luncheons, recognition dinners) in a large multi-unit organization is required. Familiarity with College Clubs/Student governments and an understanding of University culture an asset. |

| Skills: Demonstrated Skills including: Typing 40 wpm, accuracy essential; excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; organization and time management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, self-direct and work on multiple events; ability to meet deadlines; professionalism, tact and respect in all interactions with others; ability to remain calm and to function effectively in challenging situations; ability to work independently and as part of a team; meticulous attention to detail; good judgment and problem solving skills; creativity and initiative; ability to maintain confidentiality. Demonstrated Technical Skills including: Intermediate wordprocessing (MS Word) and basic spreadsheet skills (MS Excel); intermediate presentation software (MS Powerpoint); working knowledge of E-mail (e.g. Lotus Notes) and Internet. |
